GINGER-ORANGE SHOT

Bijgewerkt op: 18 nov. 2019

Gives me a great kick-off to start the new day with this spicy shot! This is the perfect morning start and so much better than coffee. I used to be addicted to coffee and now I only drink two of them each week, speaking of an accomplishment! So instead of drinking coffee I needed something else to wake me up in the morning. So next to the Matcha drinks, I started taking these shots (alcohol free 😉) and it feels amazing. It is super easy to make, at least if you have a slow juicer at home. Enjoy your week, kisses Cece.

For ½ liter of ginger-orange shots.

Ingredients:

- 350gr of fresh ginger

- 1 lemon

- 4 oranges

Tools I used:

- Sieve

- Slow juicer

- Vacuum bottle

- Small funnel

Recipe:

1. Cut the ginger into small pieces (don’t peel them).

2. Place the pieces of ginger in the slow juicer.

3. Once you’re done with the slow juicer you place the juice from the ginger

in your vacuum bottle. Tip: I used a sieve to remove excess ginger and to

make sure that I only have the juice from the ginger. And a funnel to make

sure I don’t spill any ginger juice.

4. Juice the lemon and pour the juice into the vacuum bottle.

5. Do the same for the oranges.

6. Shake the bottle before drinking.

7. Tip: you can keep the juice in your fridge for about 3 days and thanks to

the vacuum bottle the vitamins are better preserved.
