An extremely easy recipe, ideal as a snack.

- 180gr of butter

- 180gr of flour

- 175gr of granulated sugar

- 105gr of almond powder

- 1 coffee spoon of vanilla sugar

- 1 coffee spoon of caster sugar

- 4 coffee spoons of baking powder

- Icing/powdered sugar

- 3 eggs

- 4 bananas

- Pinch of salt

1. Leave the butter out of the fridge so it can get to room temperature.

2. Preheat the oven on 175°C.

3. Put the flour and almond powder in a mixing bowl and add a pinch of salt. Afterwards put this bowl aside for later.

4. Put the butter (that is on room temperature) and the sugar in another mixing bowl and mix this mixture together.

5. Break the 3 eggs and add them one by one to the mixture of the butter and the sugar.

6. Peel 3 bananas, cut them in thin slices, crush them and add them to the mixture of the butter, the sugar and the eggs.

7. Keep stirring the mixture until you have a homogeneous mass. While stirring add the mixture of the flour and the almond powder.

8. Mix everything together until you have a homogeneous mass.

9. Add the baking powder to the mixture with a spatula so that the dough gets lighter.

10. Grease the baking mold and sprinkle a little bit of flour over the baking mold. Afterwards shake off the unwanted flour.

11. Pour the mixture in the baking mold.

12. Peel the 4thbanana and cut it in two, put the two sides of the banana on top of the mixture and sprinkle a little bit of the caster sugar on top, so that it can caramelize.

13. Bake the banana cake for 30 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven.

14. After 30 to 35 minutes, get the cake out of the oven and let it cool down.

15. Get the cake out of the baking mold and sprinkle the cake with a little bit of icing/powdered sugar.
